The Changing Museums Internship is dedicated to providing scholarships for CWU students who want to acquire hands-on curatorial experience by interning with the CWU Museum of Culture & Environment.
Low-income students are unable to invest in a museum internship, as an internship can mean sacrificing hours at an off-campus job. This presents a significant barrier to entering the museum profession—more importantly it is a barrier to making museums more inclusive and diverse.
