CWU Mock Trial Team: A Record-Breaking Program
The CWU Mock Trial Team prepares undergraduate students to compete in highly competitive local, regional, and national tournaments organized by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA). These competitions provide valuable opportunities for students to earn honors, build confidence, and develop real-world legal skills.
As one of the premier mock trial programs in the Pacific Northwest, the CWU Mock Trial Team has just completed the most successful season in program history—earning ten individual awards, achieving a second-place invitational finish, and qualifying for the National Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS) for the first time in program history.
Team members graduate with mock trial honors and graduation cords while building valuable professional connections within the Washington legal community. Many alumni continue their education in law school and pursue successful careers in the legal profession.
