CWU Crowdfunding Application
Welcome to CWU crowdfunding! This crowdfunding platform is designed to attract funding to specific academic research or impact projects, campus activities, and college-wide programs. The Advancement Team will identify and approve projects that show the most potential for success. Successful projects support the mission of CWU, have a realistic funding goal and timeline (in line with those in the crowdfunding policies and procedures) and are led by a passionate team that is creative and has bandwidth to create interesting content and actively solicit their networks for contribution for 4 to 6 weeks. Before submitting an application, please request a copy of and carefully review CWU's crowdfunding policies and procedures from the Director of Annual Giving, Kaitlyn Gottlieb at kaitlyn.gottlieb@cwu.edu or (509) 963-1535.

What is the timeline for your project? Please include anticipated start date and when you need to use the funds raised.
This is the amount you hope to raise. This goal should be realistic and attainable.
Who will you be reaching out to? How will they be marketing to them? If you plan to reach out to CWU alumni, faculty, staff or exisiting donors, we require an anticipated outreach list prior to campaign approval in order to help set expectations. If approved, the foundation will provide a final list with any necessary exclusions.
Do you have a team of at least 3-5 individuals to support these efforts? Remember, crowdfunding campaigns rely heavily on community engagement and support to succeed.
