"If I were speaking with someone donating to the Recovery Scholarship Fund, I would tell them that their support makes a real and lasting difference in the lives of students who are rebuilding their futures. For many people in recovery, pursuing education represents a fresh start — a chance to create stability, purpose, and independence after facing enormous challenges. But the reality is that recovery often comes with financial barriers: medical expenses, gaps in employment, or the costs of starting life over. Scholarships like this not only ease those financial burdens but also send a powerful message of belief and hope. They remind students in recovery that their hard work and commitment are seen, valued, and worth investing in. Having that kind of support can strengthen someone’s motivation to stay on their path, focus on their studies, and continue building a healthier, more meaningful life. It’s not just financial aid — it’s encouragement, empowerment, and a tangible sign that recovery and education can go hand in hand."
